Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Doc 2017 -Villabella Vineyards

Produced following the ancient tradition of ripasso: in the spring following the harvest, the wine is kept in contact with the marc, still full of sugars and aromas, of the dried grapes used for the production of Amarone, thus acquiring greater structure and complexity. It has a bright ruby ​​red color. On the nose, intense memories of cherry, blackberry, blueberry and plum with notes of spices. Dry and with a notable structure on the palate, it combines hints of fruit with spicy veins (cinnamon, cloves and pepper). Versatile wine, suitable for all meals with meat-based menus. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.

Villabella Vineyards

Vigneti Villabella is the agricultural company of the Cristoforetti Delibori group, the winery is based in Calmasino in the province of Verona. Founded over 40 years ago by Walter Delibori and Giorgio Cristoforetti, Vigneti Villabella is a winemaking reality that expresses the best potential of the territory, creating unique, authentic wines, operating in an ethical-responsible context, maintaining the balance between man, landscape and nature. Vigneti Villabella produces all the great classic Veronese wines with Controlled Designation of Origin from Bardolino to Amarone passing through Lugana. The range is completed by the Cru di Villa Cordevigo among which the Cordevigo Bianco and Rosso stand out, wines from drying and aging in cherry barrels and the enveloping passito Fiordilej. The beating heart of the farm is the Villa Cordevigo estate in Cavaion Veronese, an organically managed wine and landscape oasis that preserves the soul of the place while respecting the environment surrounding Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais, an 18th century Venetian villa used for hospitality and promotion of the wines produced. To the current 10 hectares of this Cru, another 13 will be added, currently being converted to organic cultivation.
