The Catasto project comes from Roman's intuition, who sees in their highest vineyard a special value that deserves a special name: it derives in fact from the cadastral particle of the municipality of Laives. Historical research in fact leads to identifying that area as an ancient Roman road that allowed the connection between Bolzano and Laives, but not only that, there are clear traces of the fact that it was a post station, a place where the old Roman knights could find refreshment from long journeys. The wines are a tribute to the soul of Alto Adige: Tuatara Riesling, Athanatos Bianco, a blend of grapes historically grown in South Tyrol and Athanatos Rosso, a tribute to the red grapes that have made Alto Adige famous throughout the world.

Putzenhof

Putzenhof is one of the pleasant rarities of Italian wine production. A family-run company located south of Bolzano, a pearl set in Alto Adige. The story begins way back in 1956, when the grandparents of the current manager of the company, Roman Mottironi, decided to buy an old farmhouse perched on a hill and leaning against the foot of a porphyry wall. The access road to the farm was almost impassable, the house was literally falling to pieces and the vineyards were neglected. On the other hand, the position, with a breathtaking view that ranges from Burgraviato to Bassa Atesina and the surrounding mountains, the climatic conditions and the exposure of the rows were excellent. For this reason, the activity resumed and the lands around the farmhouse began to live again. Just over five hectares of vineyards and a hectare and a half of apple orchards.
