The Domini Nero Millesimato by Abate Nero is produced for the first time with the 2008 harvest. Vinification in white and rest sur lie for at least 60 months, this is the secret of this exuberant Blanc de Noirs from Trentino. Millesimato with a bright straw yellow color. A “vertical” Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine, in which the tactile sensations of flavor and freshness dominate initially, gradually allowing the way to open up, in perfect harmony, to persistent fruity fragrances.
Black Abbot
Abate Nero was born in the early 70s from the commitment of some friends including Luciano Lunelli, all linked to the agronomic and wine sector, determined to develop increasingly unique, good, prestigious “bubbles”. In the 90s, the company decided to start producing sparkling wines whose permanence on the lees was increased year after year and therefore began to refine the selection in search of the highest quality bases. 2008 was also an important year for the company, as, in light of the numerous awards obtained by the vintage wines, the Winemaker Luciano Lunelli decided to launch himself into a new challenge to produce a classic sparkling wine based on Pinot Noir, as in the great French tradition: thus the vintage Domini Nero was born, joined, from the 2012 harvest, by the vintage “Domini Rosé”. And so we come to the present day, but the original character is the same: artisanal production for over forty years, respectful of the dictates of classic sparkling wine, maximum care in every phase, starting from the choice of yeasts and the blending of the basic cuvées, those that will allow the wine to referment very slowly in the bottle and transform into Abate Nero.
