Intriguing and mischievous, the Sauvignon Blanc “Villa Locatelli”, which comes from Isonzo del Friuli and is produced by Tenuta di Angoris, ferments at a controlled temperature and ages in steel for five months. It is a Sauvignon to be discovered, capable of giving beautiful olfactory notes and equally pleasant gustatory extensions.

Angoris Estate

The history of Tenuta di Angoris begins between 1644 and 1647, when Ferdinand III, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire donated 300 noval fields in the territory of Cormons to Locatello Locatelli, Baron of Eulenburg and Schonfeld. Ferdinand III's donation concerned lands in the Langoris area and on Mount Quarin, lands that are still part of the estate. In recent years, the wines and image of Tenuta di Angoris have been completely renewed: having received the baton from her father Luciano, Marta Locatelli is looking after this land and expertly enhancing its fruits, orchestrating the synergy between the various farm works and the equally important cellar phases. The corporate body of Tenuta di Angoris is located at the gates of Cormons, in the Doc area that takes its name from the Isonzo river. Nestled in a mosaic of cultivated land and woods, 60 hectares around the company are cultivated with vineyards: soils with little limestone and rich in noble clays mixed with red gravel, where the wines of the Villa Locatelli line are produced. The Angoris line is selected in the 2 estates in the hilly DOC areas of the region: Ronco Antico, and the Stabili della Rocca. Ronco Antico includes 5 hectares of vineyards arranged in a perfect natural amphitheater, while in the Stabili della Rocca, the 15 hectares of vineyards extend along 4 different hills facing south-east and composed of the classic Friulian terroir called Ponca.
