The Edelschuh location is known as one of the best wine-growing locations in Austria. In this warm place, the grapes ripen with particularly high extract values, the grapes have a very delicate acid structure due to the altitude and have a very intense fruit expression. Due to the extreme slope, this historic location can only be handled manually or partly by cable winch. The dry slate soil is very strongly reflected in the wine. The must is left to ferment naturally in old wooden barrels. Aged for 8 months, it is a rich, complex and pleasantly persuasive wine. The Riesling is golden in color, broad on the nose; it expresses itself with notes of mandarin, lime, pineapple and apricot.

Wohlmuth

The Wohlmuth winery is located in the Styria region of Austria and is surrounded by vineyards between 400 and 600 meters above sea level characterized by a soil rich in slate and calcium. Since 1803 the Wohlmuth family has dedicated itself to the cultivation of wine. Gerhard Wohlmuth, a brilliant winemaker, trained nationally and internationally, has succeeded year after year in producing wines awarded nationally and internationally. The company is family-run and respect for nature, sustainability and the pursuit of quality are the values that inspire this project. Gerhard Wohlmuth relies on traditional craftsmanship, reduction of yield and natural cultivation, because for him it is very clear that a large part of the quality of the products comes from the vineyard. The company is part of the Styrian Terroir and Classic Wineries (STK). The work in the vineyard is carried out exclusively manually by expert hands with particular care of the soil and foliage, the yields are low and the desired maturation is the physiological one of the grapes. The winemaking process is strictly aimed at enhancing the fruit, with delicate and personalized management depending on the vintage, the harvest and the variety.
