Light yellow-green, silver reflections. The nose is broad; it expresses itself with dominant notes of peach and apricot, mineral. On the palate it is fresh, juicy, elegant, with a delicate sweetness and flavor in the finish, great potential for development. Selective manual harvesting, soft and slow pressing of the whole grapes. Fermentation took place at about 20 °C in stainless steel tanks and then matured on fine yeasts. Thanks to natural vinification, the minerality of the slate characterizes this wine. Excellent when paired with lightly smoked trout, it also goes well with a first course based on dried tomatoes.

Wohlmuth

The Wohlmuth winery is located in the Styria region of Austria and is surrounded by vineyards between 400 and 600 meters above sea level characterized by a soil rich in slate and calcium. Since 1803 the Wohlmuth family has dedicated itself to the cultivation of wine. Gerhard Wohlmuth, a brilliant winemaker, trained nationally and internationally, has succeeded year after year in producing wines awarded nationally and internationally. The company is family-run and respect for nature, sustainability and the pursuit of quality are the values that inspire this project. Gerhard Wohlmuth relies on traditional craftsmanship, reduction of yield and natural cultivation, because for him it is very clear that a large part of the quality of the products comes from the vineyard. The company is part of the Styrian Terroir and Classic Wineries (STK). The work in the vineyard is carried out exclusively manually by expert hands with particular care of the soil and foliage, the yields are low and the desired maturation is the physiological one of the grapes. The winemaking process is strictly aimed at enhancing the fruit, with delicate and personalized management depending on the vintage, the harvest and the variety.
