Straw-yellow in color with gold-green reflections, it immediately strikes the nose with intense and fascinating mineral hints of kerosene, immediately followed by exotic fruit and pink grapefruit, aromatic herbs and rose petals, spices and candied citrus fruits. The mouth is calibrated and very fresh, in perfect taste-olfactory correspondence and with a very long fruity finish. Perfect with raw and steamed shellfish, with cured meats and medium-aged cheeses but also alone, to capture every single nuance.

Markus Molitor - Mosel

The Markus Molitor winery is one of the most representative realities of the German Moselle. Markus Molitor with his revolutionary mentality and far-sighted visions, took over the reins of the family business at just twenty years old with a dual objective: to give continuity to a great winemaking tradition and to produce a high-quality Riesling that reflects the uniqueness of the territory where it is born. The great work he carries out in the vineyard is extremely rigorous and precise, based on a ruthless selection of the bunches, low yields per hectare, manual harvesting, often done late, and maximum respect for nature, biodiversity and the ecosystem. 150 different Rieslings are produced, including 60 Auslese, 13 Eiswein and 15 TBA, albeit in extremely small quantities. Markus Molitor is a name that is now known not only in Germany, and the awards continue to arrive year after year. His interpretations of Spatlese and Auslese are certainly among the best in the whole Mosel! In the wines of Markus Molitor you can recognize all the best varietal nuances of the German grape variety, but also that unmistakable taste that is remembered for its extraordinary finesse and elegance.
