Domaine Stephane Ogier

A family that has been involved in wine in France for seven generations. It is that of Stephane Ogier, the last heir of a Domaine that has become one of the most important in the country over the centuries. A winery that produces over 100,000 bottles every year and has become one of the symbols of the Rhone Valley. Yet Stephane Ogier still works today within his authentic empire with the manner of a small craftsman. Despite the size of the vineyard (about twenty hectares), Stephane Ogier has made a very specific choice. In fact, the focus of his attention is not on quantity, but on the highest possible quality. Each single grape is worked with the utmost care, to create a wine that is truly the best that the Rhone Valley has to offer. The winemaking therefore takes place in individually worked parcels, to be sure of expressing all the potential of each vine. The result is a sensational variety of grapes, whose flagship is the Viognier, an indigenous grape variety present in all the company's white wines. Also sensational are the Syrah and Grenache, the basis of the reds with their structure and intense aroma.
