Etna Bianco DOC by Tenuta delle Terre Nere is the result of a blend of white grapes with a prevalence of carricante, ripened in vineyards located on the northern slope of the volcano at altitudes between 600 and 900 m above sea level. Fermented and refined in steel until deemed ready for bottling, this wine has been produced since 2005 with the intent of removing the contribution of white grapes from red wines, the fruit of vines that were traditionally planted mixed with the Nerello varieties and vinified with them. The result is a spontaneous and drinkable Etna white, with an excellent quality-price ratio, which will be able to age surprisingly for 2 or 3 years to reveal the nobility of its terroir with even greater incisiveness.

Black Land Estate

Tenuta delle Terre Nere is the fruit of over thirty years of passion and profession in the world of great wines. And where I try with all my virtues to express in purity in our wines the very refined and multifaceted Etna microcosm. All with respect and meticulous care, often heavily manual, in biological balance since always. Given the extreme climate, to obtain an ideal maturation, meticulous care in the vineyard becomes fundamental. And it is precisely this, a very high concentration in the work of the vineyards, that distinguishes our estate and that allows us, having a raw material of absolute excellence, a minimal work in the cellar, aimed above all at ensuring that the characteristics of the vine and its specific microclimate are expressed at their best in each wine.
