Bordeaux Rouge Ac 2016 - Château La Maroutine
Bordeaux Rouge Ac 2016 - Château La Maroutine
Bordeaux Rouge Chateaux Maroutine perfectly represents the characteristics of Boedeaux wines. The prevalence of Merlot in the blend gives the wine a particular harmony and roundness, with decidedly soft tannins. Fermentation occurs with a maceration lasting about 25-30 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures in steel tanks and barriques for about 18 months before bottling. The wine's refinement process continues with a stop in the cellar for a few months before being released for sale.
Chateau La Maroutine
Château La Maroutine is located near the village of Saint Germain de Graves, in the southern part of Cadillac, in the Bordeaux region. The typically gravelly soils of the Graves are particularly suitable for viticulture due to their great drainage capacity and the precious presence of minerals. The history of Château La Maroutine has ancient origins: the estate was created way back in 1789. It has been passed down from generation to generation and Jean Darriet began its renovation in 1942, giving new life to the company. Today Château La Maroutine produces quality wines in the Graves area, cultivating the typical vines of the Bordeaux area in full respect of the historic tradition. In the vineyard, every operation is carried out in full respect of what is the environmental balance, with extreme care for the plants and the vegetative cycle, bringing perfectly ripe bunches to the harvest.
