It comes from the grapes of the youngest vines of the “La Villa” vineyard located in the Castelletto di Monforte d'Alba hamlet with south/east exposure. It is a fresh and young Barolo, capable of expressing itself at its best over the years. Garnet red in color, it expresses notes of violet, rose petals, mint and licorice. In the mouth it is decisive and persistent, with a long and intense finish. Pairings with red meats, game, mature cheeses.

Typical Langa company: family-run, small-medium sized, strong attachment to its roots. Located in the heart of the Langhe, in Monforte d'Alba, on the eastern slope overlooking the Serralunga hill. The company has 10 hectares of vineyards with a production of about 60,000 bottles per year divided between the great reds of the area: a fresh Dolcetto d'Alba, a characteristic Barbera d'Alba exalted in the "La Chiesa", a refined Langhe Nebbiolo and an elegant Barolo. It all began in 1988 when Aldo and Riccardo brought the first bottle of Barolo signed Seghesio to the market. Today in the company alongside Riccardo are his grandchildren Michela, Sandro and Marco. Together they take care of all aspects of the work: in the vineyard from pruning to harvesting, in the cellar from vinification to sales, in the office from administration to promotion. The Seghesio philosophy is to create wines that fully reflect the characteristics of the land and the fruits from which they come, making the right mix of tradition and winemaking innovations, because they are convinced of the potential that this territory, in its simplicity, can offer.
