A pure heart of Chardonnay for a white wine aged in steel, fresh and lively, for a party that breaks out suddenly. But that must be celebrated at the highest level. The grapes are fermented slowly, to release all the qualities that have made Burgundy famous over the centuries. The color is bright straw yellow, the scent is pleasantly floral and citrusy. Breathe in a world of grapefruit, lemon, with hints of jasmine, thyme and acacia flowers. The real surprise, however, is on the lips, where you will discover a fresh and clean sip, young and pleasantly mineral. For a passion that will overwhelm you drop after drop.
Albert Pic
Chablis is a small municipality in the heart of Burgundy, but for centuries it has been known throughout France and the world for its production of white wines of extraordinary quality. A tradition that has been respected and elevated by the Maison "Albert Pic & Fils" since 1755. A very high level of quality, further elevated by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette. His ownership has in fact allowed the company to continue its production of excellence, but with the provision of cutting-edge equipment and technologies for a cellar that all of Burgundy envies. This is also thanks to an eye for raw materials and respect for the environment, so that the terroir and the fruits arrive in the bottle and on your table at their maximum potential. This is why only steel or concrete tanks are used, without wooden barrels. The secret of the Maison, however, is the grapes, grown on soils composed of marl and clayey limestone, rich in fossils. Subject to strong temperature variations between summer and winter, it is precisely here that the expert hand of "Albert Pic & Fils" intervenes, to pamper the grapes with the utmost respect for their qualities and potential. This is why each phase is followed with obsessive attention.
