Gil Authentic Rural Gin takes inspiration from Doctor Gil, the ship's doctor on Captain Jefferson's ship, who landed on the Calabrian coast at the end of 1800 and who used the local botanicals to create a gin. The creators of Gil have therefore taken this story to reproduce a rural gin like the one that Doctor Gil would have made and have then launched this peated version that further enhances their rurality. It is a gin with a cloudy color, with delicate smoky hints given by the peat, which accompany those of juniper and absinthe, with a very enveloping and pleasant final result.
